20ᵉ Logistics Innovation Awards: winners revealed.
This 20ᵉ Prix de l'Innovation Logistique, awarded remotely by SITL 2020, honors seven winners, including TK'Blue Agency, Scallog or Sightness.
Due to the health crisis, the SITL trade show could not be held this year. Nevertheless, the show wished to " honor the winners and nominees of the 20th Innovation Awards ", explains Thomas Desplanques, Director of the Transport and Logistics Division at Reed Expositions. The prize was awarded by a jury made up of Club Marco Polo members, supply chain, logistics and purchasing directors from industry and distribution. They discussed the 32 projects submitted, as well as 18 start-ups. The seven award-winners respond to the issues and challenges facing modern supply chains, such as digital acceleration, process automation and the ecological transition. " SITL is very proud to honor the market's most innovative companies for the 20th consecutive year, and will be stepping up the promotion of innovations in future editions," announces Thomas Desplanques.
The list of winners:
- Best innovation in transport and logistics: TK'Blue Agency and its GCI climate center, which offers a unique global solution for calculating, reducing and offsetting carbon footprints, in line with the 17 sustainable development goals defined by UN members.
- Best robotics and automation innovation: Scallog, and its Flexytote robotization solution, dedicated to multi-bin transfer operations in the warehouse.
- Best innovation in real estate and logistics infrastructure: La Poste, with its city-center storage and delivery solutions.
- Best innovation in IOT technologies and information systems: Sightness, the SaaS solution for detecting transport anomalies using artificial intelligence.
- Best packaging and pallet innovation: Isovation, which offers a self-contained, combinable and reusable isothermal container in ¼ ULD aircraft format that can accommodate a full pallet of heat-sensitive products.
- Best safety and cyber security innovation: Securitas France, and its Mobile Cam 3D solution, an autonomous and agile mobile video surveillance service based on AI and Lidar.
- Best Village Refrigeration Innovation by Selfi: Coldway Technologies, manufacturer of self-contained thermochemical sorption refrigeration systems for all isothermal containers.
