3 tips before starting your carbon footprint
🎬 Interview with Philippe Mangard, leader of the Global Climate Initiatives platform.
What advice do you give to entrepreneurs before they start?
The first thing to do when you have decided to do your carbon footprint is to involve the company's management team. A small company will have one or two people, a large company will have dozens. Why should you do this?
Because deciding to do a carbon assessment is deciding to engage in a low-carbon strategy that will require the good ideas and efforts of everyone.
The second piece of advice is to choose a platform that guarantees you complete autonomy and that guarantees multi-user access. You can't do your carbon footprint alone, it has to be a collective effort.
Third element, a platform that will provide, once the assessment is completed, automatic choices of reduction paths, the implementation of a reduction plan and the implementation of a monitoring plan for these reductions.
So let's summarize: an open, simple, self-learning, multi-user platform that will produce a complete scope 1, scope 2, scope 3 assessment, in compliance with the regulations, and that will offer, once this assessment is completed, a reduction plan scenario and tools to implement it.
