CSRD GLOSSARY

CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)
European directive requiring companies to publish reports on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts.
ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards)
Standards governing the preparation of CSRD reports, covering environmental, social and governance issues.
CSRD taxonomy

Classification of sustainable economic activities, enabling companies to report on their sustainability performance.

XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language)

It is a mandatory standardized format for CSRD reporting, as it allows financial and non-financial data to be structured and tagged digitally. This facilitates the reading, analysis and comparison of information by automated systems, regulators and stakeholders.
