The project is located in Gurmitkal Mandal of Yadgir District Karnataka India. The purpose of this project is to generate electrical power using wind energy through operation of Wind Electric Generators (WEG’s).

The total installed capacity of the project activity is 60 MW comprising of 30 nos of Gamesa G_97 turbines of 2MW each.​

Thus, the project activity leads to an emission reduction of 971,229 tCO2e for the selected 7-year renewable credit period with an average annual emission reduction of 138,747 tCO2e.
